Collecting and Using Information
Either before or when we collect personal information about you on our web site (such as your name, address, phone number, email address) we will tell you how it will be used. We will limit the information we collect to what we need for those purposes. If we wish to use your information for any other purpose, we will obtain your consent before using the information.
We use ‘cookie’s on Qualico.com and on its business unit websites. A cookie is a token that a server gives to your browser when you access a web site. Cookies are capable of storing many types of data. Cookies help provide additional functionality to the web site or to help us analyze web site usage more accurately. For instance, our server may set a cookie that keeps you from having to enter a password more than once during a visit to one of our web sites. In all cases in which cookies are used, we will not collect personally identifiable information except with your explicit permission. With most Internet browsers, you can erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions.
We have implemented one or more of the following Google Analytics features: Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the DoubleClick Campaign Manager Integration, or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting.
Using the Ads Settings, visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads. Refer to Google Analytics’ currently available opt-outs for the web.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may show you ads on sites across the Internet. We, and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone’s past visits to your website.
You and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to report how your ad impressions, other uses of ad services, and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services are related to visits to your site.
Automatic Collection of Data
In some cases, we may collect information about you that is not personally-identifiable. Examples of this type of information include the type of Internet browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using, and the domain name of the web site from which you linked to our web site or advertisement. This web site may contain links to other web sites. While we try to link only to web sites that share our standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other web sites.
Qualico has reasonable security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and interception by third parties of the information under our control. However, complete confidentiality and security is not yet possible over the Internet. We assume no liability for any damages you may suffer as a result of interception, alteration or misuse of information transmitted over the Internet.
Non-Confidential Use of Your Postings
Any non-personal communication, comments, ideas or material you post or transmit to Qualico is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. By transmitting or posting any communication or material to this web site you grant to Qualico and all of its affiliates, an unrestricted, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, display, modify, transmit, distribute, publish, broadcast or post your communication for any purpose. You also agree that Qualico is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that you send us for any purpose. However, we will not release your name or otherwise publicize the fact that you submitted materials or other information to us unless: (a) you grant us permission to do so; (b) we first notify you that the materials or other information you submit to a particular part of a web site will be published or otherwise used with your name on it; or (c) we are required to do so by law.
