For 30 years, Qualico has played a major role in shaping the city of Surrey. We are committed to giving back to where we live, work, and play; to create stronger, healthier and more vibrant communities.
In 2008, Qualico decided to take a leadership role in supporting the Surrey Memorial Hospital. To date, we have donated more than $700,000 to the Surrey Hospital Foundation in addition to being Reception Sponsors for their annual Celebration of Care Gala. In 2019, Qualico also contributed $100,000 to the Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation which will help to bring a much-needed new Emergency Department and MRI Suite to Langley. A $100,000 donation was also recently made to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation to be used towards the redevelopment and expansion of their Operating Room Suites.
Other monetary donations include contributions to the new Kinsight and SHARE Tri-Cities Children’s Centre currently under construction in Port Moody, backing of local school sports team, and the annual Platinum sponsorship of the Coquitlam Firefighters Charity Gala where funds are raised to support the Breakfast and Snack Program to ensure no child goes to school hungry.
Qualico employees also take part in fundraising, volunteering and donating year round to various charities and causes across the Lower Mainland including the Surrey Food Bank, Easter Seals, Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Blood Services, Coats for Kids, Jeans Day, poppy drives, park clean-ups and more.

That’s why we’re active members in industry associations: Homebuilders Association Vancouver, Canadian Home Builders’ Association, and Urban Development Institute Pacific Region. We work closely with municipal governments to address local housing issues that matter to the communities we build in.
